I’m a photographer, writer, and artist with a ‘day job’ as a radiologist. Trained at UCLA, Stanford, Duke, and Harvard, I spent 5 years on the faculty at UTSW School of Medicine in Dallas before moving to private practice. I’m now based in Boulder Creek, in the mountains near Santa Cruz, California.
Medicine was never my dream career, but I’ve done my best to honor it since medical school in the 1980′s. Throughout this journey, I’ve struggled to maintain connection with the creative impulse–never easy, but particularly difficult when immersed in its antithesis. I’m now exploring ways to transition to a life that is more in keeping with that impulse and with the dreams I put in storage all those years ago.
